How To Set Up And Connect

Setup Instructions

  1. Charge the Unit: Ensure the SBT1 unit is sufficiently charged. It contains a 3.7 Volt rechargeable internal lithium-ion battery.
  2. Download the App: Download the free SBT1 SchuLink app from your smartphone’s or tablet’s app store. The app is available for both iOS and Android devices.
  3. Enable Bluetooth: On your smartphone or tablet, enable Bluetooth.
  4. Pair the Device:
    • Open the SBT1 SchuLink app.
    • Follow the on-screen prompts to connect to the SBT1 tester. The app features fast, easy, and reliable Bluetooth pairing.
    • Ensure the “connected” LED indicator on the SBT1 unit illuminates, confirming a successful connection. The wireless connection range is over 10 meters.

  5. Connect to Battery: Connect the red clamp to the positive (+) battery terminal and the black clamp to the negative (-) battery terminal. Ensure a secure connection.
